Student Information and Guidance Service (SIOE)
The URL has information and guidance points to provide
students with advice in all areas of university life:
processes of access and matriculation, academic procedures
and times, recognition of qualifications, grants, social
and cultural initiatives, and so on. The Student Information
and Guidance Service (SIOE) provides support and guidance
in response to requests and proposals of the students
and on the activities organised in all fields of university
life.
The SIOE
also provides information on:
How to apply for a place and register
Procedures and deadlines for requesting the recognition
of diplomas, changes in registration, grants, extraordinary
calls for grants.
Grants and foreign exchanges
Sports and cultural activities of the URL, as well as
other extracurricular activities
Services, actions and activities involving solidarity
and in the Pastoral field
Social and cultural activities
BLANQUERNA Personal Guidance Service (SOP)
The Personal Guidance Service (SOP) is a service
offered to all Blanquerna students in response to their
needs for personal, social, educational and professional
guidance. It also includes support for the teaching
staff's tutorial role. Its fundamental aims are:
To inform students and thus help them to take decisions
in certain areas
To help students clarify their personal goals and possibilities
To provide social and emotional support
To provide guidance for lecturers - tutors
The guidance offered from the SOP is intended to help
the student to understand the obstacles that emerge
as part of a person's process of maturing and development,
as well as to find ways of overcoming these obstacles.
The aim is to help students to understand and interpret
what happens to them, giving priority to clarifying
and achieving their personal goals in different fields
and in interpersonal relationships, integrating what
they have learnt, vocational/professional guidance,
decision-making, etc.
The functions of the SOP are psychopedagogical in nature.
If other types of issues emerge, they are analysed and
referred to the appropriate institutions.
